Dear friends!
My name is Roman Mazur and I am the head of the dancing school “Mazurdance” in Buffalo Grove. I am 79 years old and have lived the last 20 years here in America after living in Ukraine for most of my life. I understand the ups and downs connected with old age and the difficulties you encounter in your daily life. I try to convince those of a similar age to me that your quality of life depends only on you. The most important thing is to stay active and become involved with things and events that interest you. At our school, many people are over 70 years of age and they are engaged and feel perfectly at home. They very much enjoy learning to dance, even participating in concerts and performances together with the younger students. I am told by the audience that the seniors who perform always look excited and happy to be on stage, and I completely agree with them!
